Basics of Celestial Navigation – Learn how to use a sextant and take a noon sight from the SB breakwater to determine your position. Sextants provided or bring your own. NOTE: Class has two sessions, lunch served during session 2:
Session 1: Lecture – Tue, Sept 30, 7:00PM – 9:00PM;
Session 2: Using the Sextant and Taking the Noon Sight – Sat, Oct 4, 10:30AM – 3:00PM
