SUMMARY:Catalina Cruise - Two Harbors
DESCRIPTION:This is a week-long Cruise to Catalina led by the Ciolinos.  It’s a long haul to Two Harbors – almost 90 miles but well worth the effort.  Whether you’ve been there before or this will be your first time\, it’s a gorgeous location with lots to do once you’re there.  Arriving mid-week means you should be able to secure a good mooring with no need to move when the weekend arrives. Details will be provided by Rich and Peggy prior to cruise. NOTE: Weather conditions will always dictate safety of planned cruises. \nTwo Harbors has a general store\, restaurant and coffee shop\, marine mechanic\, fuel\, water and sewage dump so you can be comfortable for a week.  There are lots of activities including hiking\, kayaking\, snorkeling and scuba.  A rental shop is open daily for all water activities including air tank fills. Lolling on the protected beach is also encouraged!

DESCRIPTION:Your Santa Barbara chapter of “America’s Boating Club” (formerly United States Power Squadrons) will be teaching a Marine Navigation course that provides the basic skills you need to plan and safely navigate your boat using traditional (dead reckoning\, charts) and modern (GPS\, electronic) methods. \nCourse Description: Marine Navigation is the first course in the sequence of America’s Boating Club’s courses on navigation\, covering the basics of coastal and inland navigation.
