Get Your California Boating Card and Important Basic Boating Skills

When fully implemented, California’s Boating Card law will require all motor vessel operators to have a California Boating Card (CBC). As of January 1, 2018 the law applies to motor vessel operators 20 years old and younger. Your Santa Barbara chapter of America’s Boating Club (formerly United States Power Squadrons) will offer its America’s Boating Course that teaches boating basics and safety (sail, power, PWC, paddle etc.) to you and your crew.
